months to plan the festivities to celebrate Stone County, Missouri’s 160th Anniversary.
Entertainment for the day’s events came down to music and performances.
The New Premiere Dance Academy students demonstrated their clogging and dance skills.

And, The Hula Hoop Dance Troupe was one of the groups that performed on the square to entertain the audiences.

The Hula Hoop Dance Troupe and the hula hoops must have inspired local youngsters to try their skills at the hula hoops.

When it came to music, the Possum Holler Fiddlers and the Missouri Boat Ride Blue Grass Band entertained the people who sat on the square and listened to the music, while others shopped in the booths that surrounded the square or quenched their thirst and appetites by visiting the food and beverage concessions.

While people listened to the music on the square, some ventured across the street to The Bank Of Galena Museum to see the exhibits.

Some people went to the cake walk and some youth found their way to Swanson Park for three-legged races and egg races.
