FREE PHOTO – Make Tracks The railroad tracks passes by Galena, Missouri. The tracks are located below the courthouse and above the city park. The tracks lie on the terrain and stretch out to the overpass that blends into the country above the James River and past Galena High School. Union Pacific freights follow the tracks and pass through the country and through Crane, Missouri, nine miles away. In the early 1900s, trains would stop in Crane, now the red caboose in the city park is the lone reminder of railroad history, which makes tracks past the old Galena train depot and through Crane as the Union Pacific freights carry their cargoes to other destinations.
